What is an End of Life Doula?
An end of life Doula provides compassionate support, care, companionship and guidance through the final stages of life.
We help those who are facing this profound time – and their families – find peace, comfort and meaning.
With a holistic approach, emotional, spiritual, and practical care are offered at every stage, creating a space for dignity, understanding and connection to each other, and perhaps to something even greater than ourselves.
What to expect
I come to you for home visits to provide company, comfort, companionship, and conversation.
Together we’ll seek meaning in the experiences that have shaped you, honoring your worth, your story, and the depth of your humanity.
You can speak what’s on your mind and in your heart openly and freely, without judgment. I want to help put your mind and soul at ease – to help you feel not so alone on the path.
We can read together, listen to your favorite music, begin a legacy project together. This can be a scrapbook filled with favorite photos and stories, a heart-felt note – something you wish to be remembered by.
We can create a beautiful space – how you want your environment to look, to feel, to express who you are.
I provide respite for your loved ones, be there for you when family or hospice cannot.
